Movie Review of: La La Land

Today I am reviewing the movie called La La Land. This movie came out recently on iTunes and it was in the theaters some time ago. This movie is about two people. The girl wants to become a famous actor and the man wants to become a piano player in a jazz club. I like this movie because it is about following your dreams and not giving up. I think that this movie has a good soundtrack. I loved the soundtrack. I you might like it if you like music and if you like movies about following your dream and not giving up. This movie does not start with the main characters instead it starts with a lot of people stuck in traffic (in LA) and they get out of their cars and sing a song and then get back in their car. I like this movie and I hope you like it to. It is one of my favorite movies.

Movie Review of: A Dog’s Purpose

I already reviewed A Dog’s Purpose and Bailey and Ellie’s story so we are rapping up A Dog’s Purpose reviews and important points of each book. A Dog’s Jounery is on my to read list (which will have a review soon). The author is coming out with a new book called A Dog’s Way Home. I will read that when it comes out and write a review. This movie is out on iTunes and will be coming to DVD + Blue Ray in 2 days. Let’s Review!

A Dog’s Purpose is about serval differnt dogs including Bailey. This book is about one dog who lives many differnt lives. Every dog has a purpose. Every dog’s purpose is differnt. On A Dog’s Purpose movie Instagram it has the picture of the dog and a quote from the movie. Bailey is an important dog in this movie he is the main dog in the trailer. Bailey lives with a boy named Ethan and Bailey’s purpose is to always be there for Ethan. I love this movie because I love dogs. I think this movie is for anyone of all ages who loves dogs. I would give this movie 5 stars.

Book Review of: A Dog’s Purpose Novel Bailey’s Story

Bailey’s Story is one of my favorite books. This book is about a dog named Bailey who lives with a boy named Ethan. Bailey is a family dog. Bailey was a character in A Dog’s Purpose Novel and A Dog’s Purpose movie. This book is made for young readers. I think this book is for anyone of any age who loves dogs especially golden retrievers. Bailey is always there for Ethan. I would give this book 5 stars.
Most Important Points:
1. Bailey is always there for Ethan.
2. Bailey is a family dog.
3. Bailey is a golden retriever.

Making Music via GarageBand

I like to play the ukulele. I play covers (Hene, Haele, You and Me etc.) and I write some songs (So Many Awesome Days, The World, La La La, It’s a Nice Day etc.). I use this app called GarageBand (available on iOS and Mac OS), on GarageBand you can record songs by using your device’s microphone or you can buy one and plug one into an iOS device (like what I do). You can also add instruments (drums, vilion, gutair, electric guitar, cello, etc.) or you can play your own by using the microphone. I play my ukulele while recording (most of the time). I write lyrics to my songs and I sing them by using the mic.

Fitbit Charge 2 vs Apple Watch Series 2

My two working smart/fitness watches the Charge 2 and the Apple Watch. Well overall we have one obvious winner hear and that is clearly the Apple Watch Series 2. Well if you want to spend less the Charge 2 is a great option. Let’s Compare.

Built in GPS

Charge 2: Connected GPS

Apple Watch Series 2: Yes

Heart RateFitbit Charge 2: Yes

Apple Watch Series 2: Yes

Breathing

Charge 2: Yes

Apple Watch Series 2: Yes + Saved in Apple Health

Both Watches have Steps, Distance, Hourly Move, and more.

Notifications

Apple Watch 2 does an amazing job when it comes to notifications. You can even talk on the phone by using the Apple Watch. You can reply to text. It has FaceBook, Instagram, Snapchat, calendar, and any app that has notifications turned on your iphone they will be turned on your iwatch. Fitbit Charge 2 on the other hand only has the basics Calls, Text, and Calender notification. When it comes to Text and Calender notifications it will show only part of it temping you to get out your phone not putting it away. You can not talk into it or anything like that.

Smart Features

The Apple Watch is the winner. It has apps. If you an app you can go to the App Store and download an app. If it has a Apple Watch app available it should be on there shortly after you get the app. The apps are really handy. You can download apps like Messenger, Skype, Slack, and more messaging apps and message the same way you do on the Apple Messages app. The Messages app is both texting and iMessage. It has the phone app and you can call someone on your watch. It has your (“Favorite”) activity and workout app on there to. It has the music app. It has the remote app to control your Apple TV. It has a lot of apps. A new app on Watch OS is a app called Breath. The Fitbit has not really any just notifications. However it does have the breath feature that the Apple Watch has but it does not save your Breath minutes.

Workout Features

Apple Watch is again the winner. This time Fitbit does really good on this category. The Apple Watch has the Activity app and the workout app. The Apple Watch Series 2 has built in GPS which is the biggest reason I got this watch. The Actitvity app is your daily activity. There are three rings Move, Exersize, and Stand. My favorites are Move and Exersize. At the button it has Steps, Distance, and any workout you did that they. Also you can download 3rd party connected GPS apps for the device (Apple Watch) like Nike. Some apps like Nike if you pair it to your Apple health app it will show up with your workouts in the actitvity app. There is also a breath app where you can breath and a heart rate tracking app where it can track your resting heart rate. The Heart Rate monitor is not always on. Fitbit also does a really good job. It has your steps, heart rate, distance, calories, floors, active minutes, and moving. The Fitbit has connected GPS. It does a decent job. It has breathing where it makes you relax. It also has Smart Track auto workout tracking.

Battery Life

The Charge 2 is finally the winner. It goes up to five days on a single charge. On the other hand the Apple Watch Series 2 only goes UP TO 18 hours of battery life and 4 hours of battery life if doing GPS tracking.

The results.

Winner: Apple Watch Series 2

Apple Watch 2 categories won: 3 of 4

Charge 2 Categories won: 1 of 4.

Either tracker would be a great option. Depends on your price.

P.S. If you are getting the Charge 2 get it on Amazon because you save a buck.

Review and Raiting of: Fitbit Charge 2

My Fitbit Charge HR fell apart (I wear the Fitbit during the school day). My Charge HR’s band cracked and spilt. So I was debating between getting a Fitbit Flex 2, Fitbit One, or the Charge 2. I went head and got the charge 2 because

1. It has great workout features

2. It has a comfortable band.

3.  HR

4. Breathing Exercises

5. Clock, no clasp, on wrist, and Active Minute display

The Charge 2 came and I got the teal. It looked really nice. When I tried it on it was the most comfortable Fitbit I have ever worn (not as comfortable as the Apple Watch 2). I put it on and it has nice features HR, Active Minutes display, breathing, and workouts that are not on basic Fitbits. I will wear it during the school day and while my Apple Watch 2 is charging. I enjoy compenting steps with other people. The Apple Watch Series 2 is my favorite Watch but the Fitbit Charge 2 is my favorite Fitbit.

I would rate it 4 stars.

P.S. I got it from Amazon and you should get it on amazon because you save a buck.

Review and Rating of: Apple Watch Series 2

The Apple Watch Series 2 is way better than the Fitbit Blaze and Fitbit Charge HR. I still currently have a Fitbit Charge HR it is cracked. I gave my Fitbit Blaze to somebody with a dying Fitbit Zip (he likes it). I used to use a Garmin for any type of run (Garmin Forerunner 225) then the connected GPS Fitbit (Fitbit Blaze) now I use the Apple Watch for runs (Apple Watch Series 2). When I still used the Garmin I also used two other Fitbits in that time period (Fitbit Charge HR and Fitbit Alta then Fitbit Charge because the Alta falls off of me). The Apple Watch does not fall off of me. 5Stars

Pros:

**Built in GPS super accurate (more accurate than Garmin and Fitbit).**

**Great HeartRate not always on. On when you are still, breathing by using the breath app, and while you do a workout (including swimming). Accurate HR. **

Swimming Tracking (50 Meters)

**Breath App (Comes with Watch)**

Watch OS

Sleep ++ (accurate sleep tracking app you should download)

Cons:

Power Reserve does not say that it will turn off activity tracking clearly.
